The huge window in the front is
dedicated to many of the parrots that we have here at the Kennewick
Facility. During the summers, we allow the birds to be outside on
their stands or cages for the fresh air and wonderful warmth of the sun.
On the hotter days EWPR has the
birds inside their outside cages that have misters, toys and a tarp to keep them cool and
happy.

This is my 4 month old, Brown Headed Parrot, "Lela"
With her wet feathers together is always an
awwwwwww.... she just melts my heart. She doesn't just bathe, she
performs....a dash to the bowl, hop in and splash, hop out of the bowl and
run flapping into a corner and then back to the bowl. Over and over again.
She even does encores. This little girl has totally captured my heart, big
time!
