Sophie Finds A Wonderful Home!

This is Sophie, the beautiful Citron Cockatoo, and her new "Mom", aka, "her new perch".  For all of you that showed interest in adopting Sophie, just know that she has truly found her perfect, forever home. She has lots of new bird friends, dog friends and a terrific new human family, all of which keep him busy. She has settled into her new home very nicely and adores everyone as much as they adore her.

ANGEL FINDS A FABULOUS NEW HOME!!

I was adopted by a very nice woman that works at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society!  She already had a parakeet and wanted a cage mate so I am living happily in a huge new cage with a new friend!  I couldn't be in a better living situation than I am in now.

  A FOREVER HOME!

A Wonderful Success Story for EWPR!

Meet Tami Rieksts and "Louie", the Blue Front Amazon Parrot. We acquired Louie from a family that could no longer keep him. He would not let anyone touch him or even come close without dive bombing at everyone to bite them. Tami came along and Louie fell in love...as you can see, he doesn't bite or dive bomb at Tami at all.

RILEY FINDS A  WONDERFUL NEW HOME!

The Greater Citron Cockatoo that we rescued has found a fabulous new home with Eric.  We have had updates from Eric about Riley and it is so obvious that these two were meant to be together! Eric lives in Spokane and he takes Riley with him just about everywhere he goes.  Last night Eric called EWPR to tell us that Riley has now become an escape artist.

Somehow Riley got off his perch, which he never did here at EWPR, and got into the Monkey Chow!  Man, that boy loves his  Monkey Chow!

Thank You Eric for providing such a wonderful, loving home for such a sweet Cockatoo!

This is truly another wonderful success story for EWPR!

A Wonderful Success Story for EWPR!

Meet Darlene and "Harley", a very sweet, year old Goffin's Cockatoo.  Harley came to us from a couple that thought he was too loud, but just as he came out of quarantine, Darlene emailed us and asked us about the birds we had for adoption.  This adoption was meant to be because they are now living happily together!

Thank you Darlene and Rob for giving Harley the perfect, loving home.
