| EWPR is very pleased to say that we have obtained our UBI Number and EIN Number
for the Federal and State 501(c) 3's, AND our Master Business License, with a
Licensed Trade Name. If anyone wishes to see our licenses, make an
appointment to speak with Dee Hanson at her home and she will be more than happy
to provide any legal documents you wish to see. They are proudly posted on
her office wall. |

Merlin's 10 Rules |
1. If you like it, it's mine.
2. If I can reach it, it's mine.
3. If it's in my beak, it's mine.
4. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
5. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
6. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
7. If I'm chewing something, all the pieces are mine.
8. If it looks like mine, it's mine.
9. If I saw it first, it's mine.
10. If you have something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine. |

| WE CAN NOT RESCUE WILDLIFE |
|
We are NOT licensed to rescue wild birds. If you have a wild
bird or know of one that needs rescuing, please see our Links Page for "Blue
Mountain Wildlife". They are located in Pendleton, Oregon and are a
licensed, nonprofit organization specializing in WILD birds. If you are out
of that area, please do a search on Wildlife Rescue in your area |

Hi! My name is Merlin and I am a VERY
smart Parrot, you know.....fly, talk, type, chew wood at the same time!
SQUAWK!!! I am going to be writing to you as often as possible
about all the things that are happening at Eastern Washington Parrot Rescue! I

EWPR Establishes Internet Presence
|
|
As a few of our regular visitors have noticed, our EWPR.ORG site
has been unavailable for months. When it did become available to the
public, a domain broker nabbed it and required a huge amount of money to
purchase it. Since we are a non-profit organization, there was absolutely no way
we could have afforded the amount he wanted. So, we registered EWPR.NET. It was
either that or have no domain at all. This was NOT acceptable. The waiting
period is over! We are now online with EWPR.NET to help those that have or
know of birds that need to be rescued and provided with a safe and loving home.
Be sure to bookmark our site!

FRIDAY NIGHT ALIVE - Pendleton
Oregon |
|
FINALLY!! We have added the pictures for the Event EWPR
attended in Pendleton, Oregon.
Check it out!

|
The reason we do profiles about EWPR Staff is because the EWPR
Staff believes that it is essential to know something about them BEFORE you decide
to adopt or surrender a bird through EWPR. |
| New Foster Home in Spokane, WA. |
| We would like to welcome Gloria Bendewald to the Eastern
Washington Parrot Rescue Staff! She has graciously opened her home to
Foster Those Without A Voice. We desperately needed a Foster Home in
Spokane and after conducting an in-home visit with her, she passed our high
standards with flying colors. Thank You Gloria for being the
person that you are and having a caring heart that is more than willing to
Help Those Without A Voice! (EWPR wants to thank ALL
the wonderful, caring people in Spokane that sent in Foster Home
Applications.)
|
| New Foster Home in Pasco, WA. |
| We would like to introduce Lynda Salgado to the Eastern
Washington Parrot Rescue Staff as a wonderful, new Foster Home. Lynda
resides in Pasco, WA. She has been involved with parrots for over ten
years. She is now fostering the cockatiels and parakeets that we
currently have for adoption. She has her daughter and two beautiful
grand daughters with her so we won't be putting any large parrots into her
home. She has come to us at a very good time, as our facility in
Kennewick was nearly to the full capacity. Thank you Lynda for being a person with a caring heart and willing to
Help Those Without A Voice! |
